It is not enough that our surroundings are full of colours, sound and feel but there are other elements that tries to grab our attention. I always get that feeling in a shopping mall. As I'm walking along, electronic boards draws my focus, melodic sound comng from another corner, credit card salesmen shoving pamphlets into my face and avoiding kids that are running around my knees. Distractions can be irritating but everyone just wants a bit of our attention. One thing that helps is screening, seeing only what we want to see like toilet directions, lifts, levels and directories.

Instinct to Survive
The will to survive is instinctive in every living creature. Plants and animals alike have a sense of thriving and prolonging life so that the species continue to live on. But the will to survive for us is ever so fragile. The daily stress of living in the concrete jungle is tough and takes a lot of strength to manage the pressure. May this unique plant give us inspiration to overcome all obstacles to move on in life knowing that a bright future is just above ...

Euro 2008
O..the excitement, thrills and agony...is almost coming to an end. Who will be the hero this year? The excellent photography and angles really captured the spectacular games. Every shot and spin of the ball is just too fantastic it makes the pitch roar with elation. The sound of fans cheering and shouting for their favourite teams adds a resonance of team work and encouragement. What a game? More, more, more .....may the best performance end the game with a blast this weekend.

The Surface of Mars
Could this be the surface of planet Mars? Well if men are from Mars and women are from Venus then no wonder men are so tough because it looks really inhospitable. Maybe underneath the surface lies a kingdom of paradise of a modern city. The true heart of an entity lies buried and is waiting to be discovered.....

The Passage of Time
Time...no matter how you look at it digital or analog, it moves on and waits for no one. 24 hours a day constantly ticking away.
At times we want it to move faster because we can't stand waiting for sometime to happen or finish but sometimes we hope and pray that time will not end especially when we are enjoying and savouring the moment.
One thing that I've learned about time is that our perception of time can be changed by our actions. Time seems to pass quicker when we are busied with something but time can be a drag when we are idle.
So the expression 'killing time' came about whereby we find something to do while waiting for time to pass and you'll find that it is not that long of a wait. But if you want to stretch your time, then you'll have to apply some time management skills such as prioritizing your activities and performing them in the shortest time. And there goes 3 minutes 34 seconds of my time.

Road Map of Life's Journey
Decisions, decisions. Everyday is a decision making day. Every wakening day is filled with decision making chores. But as the years passed by, decisions become harder and the consequences much greater. Many a times I trust my instincts despite the condescending mind to give in to other decision makers but the summission to higher authority disintegrates my sense of control. Submission to the wise is a blessing but following the unwise will lead to folly and frustrations.
Life demands making a right or left turn, unbeknownst to us what lies in the corner but still every turn is a learning experience. I only pray that I will be bestowed with wisdom from above to make the right moves at every crossroads in my life. Will we be happier if we know the road map of our lives or live the life of risk and adventure? That depends how we like to watch a movie. Do we prefer knowing how the story ends or sitting through it until it ends? That's your answer. Nuff said.

See yourself in 3D
Have you ever seen yourself outside yourself? Well, not exactly an out of body experience but only your teeth. This could be done when you pay your next visit at the dentist. You can ask for a caste of your set of teeth. Seeing my teeth in a 3 dimensional view is awesome. I get to view the inner part of my teeth which I never could with just a mirror and able to scrutinise each tooth individually. You can feel and touch the edges from different angles. The years of biting and chewing really worn them out and shaped them into misaligned mandibles. Hopefully they'll crunch and chomp chomp for many more years to come.
